Note: This dimension must be the smallest dimension measured horizontally between the outside pontoons taken between the strakes if present or the inner sides of the pontoons (whichever is smallest). Measure in 2-3 locations to determine the smallest dimension as boats are not perfectly square. IMPORTANT: The measurement must be accurate to ensure the correct length of the hydrofoil.

4.2 Additional Details for Tritoon Boats Only:

1) What is the minimum dimension between the outermost pontoons of your boat?*

Hints: If the boat is in the water, obtain the dimension from the back of the boat by leveling up to the deck from the inside-most structure (strakes or inside of the pontoons) and placing a mark on the deck. Then measure between these marks you place on back deck. Important: DO NOT stand on deck while leveling up. If the boat is on a trailer, in the area of the axles, level down to the ground evenly front to back on each side onto a piece of tape pre-positioned and mark the location on both sides. Measure between these marks. This location will tell you whether the strakes or the pontoons are actually the smallest dimension. IMPORTANT: Repeat 2-3 times if needed for required accuracy.
